Albert the Alligator

Welcome, Albert the Alligator.

I know what you are thinking, an alligator! In the park! An alligator!
But alligators are mean and green, not very clean, and love to tear things to smithereens!

Please don’t let him eat me! Please don’t let him eat me!
Wouldn’t he prefer some nice green beans or perhaps some stinky sardines?

I promise you, Albert is not like that at all,
He’s sweet and squishy and soft like a cotton ball.

And with a long slinky tail and bright yellow eyes,
He really is just a teddy bear in disguise.

So trust me and believe what I tell you is true.
Its sweets he desires, not me or you!

He likes gooey green gumballs and tangy tangerine twirls.
Along with savory sweet snaps and creamy caramel curls.

It may be the sugar, but Albert never has a gloomy day.
For he makes the best of the worst, washing any frown away.

You must understand that there is always something to be happy about.
And Albert knows that, without any doubt.

So stop on by and visit Albert, for I promise it will be a treat.
And oh, don’t forget if you want to see him really smile, just bring him something sweet to eat.
