Say hello to Annabelle and her trusted pup, Ollie the Scottie.
They are inseparable best friends who do everything together.
Including visiting Rittenhouse, no matter the weather.
As for Annabelle, she is as cute as can be, wearing a pink silk bow that glistens in the sun.
And for Ollie, well he’s a fine young Scottie, wearing a red plaid collar given to him by his mum.
They both live in a small house down a narrow cobblestone street.
A few blocks down from Rittenhouse, making it quite the treat.
It is quaint and charming and always easy to spot,
For its bright garden green front door brightens up the block.
On the roof lies a broken weather vane that is always pointing west.
While brown boxes of purple petunias create a home for the swallows to nest.
They come to Rittenhouse each day to talk, and they come to play,
They come for advice from the residents, and to sit in the cafe.
They come to share their fears and even shed some tears,
And they come to spread their cheer and to love whats dear.
But no matter what, whether happy or blue,
They leave each day, always learning something new.
For each new day they grow from life’s twists and bends.
And what better way to do it than with your very best of friends.
