Meet Simon the sloth, the friendliest and slowest artist you will ever meet,
A creative soul who makes painting and drawing a personal retreat.
With his red beret tilted and paint pallet in hand,
He peacefully creates works of art, some small some grand.
He mixes his blues and browns to paint pleasant small towns,
And reds and greens creating peaceful nature scenes.
He loves painting world-famous sites along with beautiful twilights,
And calming waves that glisten in the moonlight.
No one knows where he learned his amazing abilities.
Some say he trained in France; others say he learned it by chance.
Or maybe he was trained in the city of Rome, or by his wonderful mother back at home.
He will paint everything and anything, as talented as he.
For according to him, everything can be beautiful, no matter what you see.
But he has only given his paintings to only a select few.
So perhaps if you’re lucky enough, he might just paint one for you.
You might find yourself waiting though, so get in line.
