Rittenhouse Square

Welcome to Rittenhouse Square, a beautiful park where tall city buildings tower over treetops,
And each corner is lined with cafes and coffee shops.

Delightful daisies and pillowing pansies line the walkways,
And bright buttercups blossom from the sun’s glowing rays.

But to visit Rittenhouse, you will have to travel deep into the heart of the city,
I promise it’s worth it though, for its secrets will make you downright giddy.

You see there are curious characters that have made Rittenhouse their home over the years,
Traveling near and far to find a place full of laughter and cheers.

In the center fountain lives an alligator with a sensational sweet tooth,
And a sloth who likes to paint in a tree over the old ticket booth.

Next is the famous duo of frog and fox,
Two best friends who own a cafe under the winding wooden clock.

And don’t forget about the birdie who bakes delicious pies,
And Annabelle Lee and Oliver, who visit every sunrise.

And last but not least, the mayor himself, Charlie the mayor of Rittenhouse,
Or as I like to call him, the Rittenhouse Mouse.

But if you want to visit the Residents of Rittenhouse, there is something I must tell you, so gather close and gather tight,
Come one Come on!  You can come closer, I promise I don’t bite.

Are you ready? Great! Now listen carefully,
For you must know that only those who are kind and truly believe, will they come out for you to see.

So remember to say please when asking for more,
And to never complain when given your chores.

And remember when you sneeze to say excuse me,
And always finish your dinner, down to every last pea.

But most importantly of all don’t forget to believe in that little mouse,
For within him lies the magic of Rittenhouse.
